Done to Spec was hired to address a number of home repairs as part of the sale agreement. The main issue involved rot around the deck and breakfast nook as a result of poor flashing. It was discovered that water had penetrated the exterior envelope. Dry rot had affected the floor joists under the kitchen bump-out. We also discovered rot behind the siding to the left of the downstairs sliding door.

The floor joist repair required most of the decking be removed, so we could gain access to the ledger board and floor joists. As part of the project, Done to Spec also replaced the post supporting the deck, replaced rotten brick mold around the double doors, installed new siding and re-painted. Here is the end result:
