Done to Spec completed this custom master bath remodel in June 2014 on the Plateau in Sammamish. The homeowners used Done to Spec for their laundry room remodel and balcony repair before having them remodel the master bath. The homeowners decided to go with a contemporary design, using such elements as a floating vanity, countertop vessels, chrome fixtures and sleek lines. The homeowners did an exceptional job selecting colors and materials  Other features that make this master bath special include the heated tile floor, accent lighting under the vanity, heated towel rack and the new door leading to the hot tub.

The original bathroom was somewhat functional, but lacked character. Notice the wasted space between the tub and vanity.

The new master bath provides even more functionality and the character is off the charts! The floating vanity has a quartz countertop and vessel sinks. Faucets are by Danze. Mirrors and lights are part of a set that were purchased with the vanity.

The original tub was removed, making way for a larger 3-head shower. The glass block window was replaced with a standard glass window. Porcelain was used for the walls and bench. Natural pebble tile was used for the floor. The plumbing fixtures are Danze. The Kerdi Shower System by Schluter was used for waterproofing. 3/8″ glass and chrome hardware from Agalite was used for the frameless enclosure.

The homeowners felt that a door to the closet was unnecessary, so the door and frame were removed and installed in the toilet closet, where more privacy was desired. A crank out window was also added in the toilet closet for additional natural light.

One of the biggest changes in the new master bath is the addition of the exterior door that leads outside to the hot tub. The owners now have a more convenient way in and out of the house instead of going through the kitchen area. The homeowners chose a glass door that provides even more natural light.
